Jean Remona (Thompson) Ashworth

Jean Remona Thompson Ashworth, 91, of Kinston, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, May 17, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Lee Ashworth, and parents, Bernice and Sadie Thompson.

Jean is survived by her daughters, Debra A. Bonar and husband, David, of Grifton and Patsy A. Cuddington and husband, Timothy, of Grifton; special granddaughter, Dana B. Gicale and husband, Stephen, of Humpton, GA; great-grandchildren, Duncan and Xavier Gicale; sister, Corine Wooten of Grifton; many nieces and nephews, and several close family members in Virginia.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at Pinelawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. A graveside service will follow at 11:00 a.m.
