John Dwight Noble, 68, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at UNC Chapel Hill. He is preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Doris Noble and his brother, Paul Noble.
He is survived by his son, Chad Noble and special son James Dawson, brother, Terry Noble and wife Peggy, nephews, John, Jamie, and Kevin Noble and great niece, Avery Grace Noble.
John lived life on his own terms, never afraid to be himself and always staying true to who he was.
He was known for a giving heart-he would give you the shirt off his back without hesitation. He was a devoted father, a caring brother, and a loyal friend who meant so much to those fortunate enough to know him.
He found joy in the simple things in life. John loved good food and especially enjoyed cooking and baking, often sharing those moments and meals with others. He also enjoyed spending time playing video games and embracing relaxation in his everyday life.
John will be remembered for his kindness, his sense of humor and the genuine way he connected with people. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
