Joyce Wilson Obituary

Joyce Foyles Wilson, 90, of Kinston, passed away Saturday, September 23rd, 2023 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband and father of her children, James “Jim” Berry Foyles, son Jeffrey “Koon” Allen Foyles, Stepsons Woodrow “Nelson” Foyles, James Ronald “Buck” Foyles Sr, sister Hilda Grace Halso, brother Hubert James Hill and husband Robert Vernon Wilson.

She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Foyles Stroud, son-in-law Billy Dwayne Stroud, grandchildren James Christopher Foyles, Amy Nicole Foyles Lingg (Jeff), and Billy James “BJ” Stroud, stepsons, Howard Bert Foyles (Barbara), and Nicky Ray Foyles (Jennifer).

Graveside service will be at Mewborn Cemetery on Mewborn Cemetery Road in Snow Hill on Sunday, September 24th, 2023 at 3:00pm with visitation to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
