Juanita Boyette Obituary

Juanita Lewis Boyette, 95, of La Grange, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 29, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of faith, love, generosity, and joy. She was a devoted Christian and a faithful member of New Hope Baptist Church, where her faith guided her throughout her life.

Juanita was an avid reader who especially cherished reading her Bible. She embraced life with enthusiasm and enjoyed bowling, playing golf, and spending time with family and friends playing cards. Known for her competitive spirit, she always played to win but did so with good humor and fairness. She also enjoyed shopping and loved to “mall walk” with her closest friends.

A lover of adventure, Juanita traveled extensively with her sister, creating cherished memories around the world. She delighted in experiencing new places and cultures, always returning home with stories to share.

Those who knew Juanita will remember her as someone who was truly full of life. She was a giver and helper, always willing to lend a hand or offer encouragement to those in need. Her quick wit and wonderful sense of humor brought laughter to countless family gatherings and friendships over the years.

Above all else, Juanita loved her family. She treasured every moment spent with them and took great pride in the lives and accomplishments of those she loved. Her kindness, faith, generosity, and joyful spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Though her earthly journey has ended, the memories she created and the love she shared will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends for generations to come.
