Juanita Worthington Enzor

Juanita Worthington Enzor, 90, of Kinston passed away Saturday, September 28, 2024, at her home, after a long battle with dementia.  She was preceded by first husband, Swift Mooring, Jr., son, Bennie Swift Mooring, second husband, Dr. Floyd Enzor and parents, Mattie Avery Worthington and Dixie Exum Worthington, siblings Bill Worthington, Dean Campbell and Jeanette Roberts.

Juanita met her husband at Sandy Bottom Baptist Church, Kinston, NC where he was pastor.  After marriage they moved to Columbus County, NC.  She worked as a substitute teacher for Columbus County Schools for many years.  She adored her grandchildren and was involved in their many activities.

Juanita is survived by her children, Marie Mooring Clark and husband, Mike, Carson Ray Mooring and wife, Cheryl; step-children, Bennie Enzor and wife, Teresa and children, Lynn Enzor and husband, Lynn Styers; grandchildren, Jackie M Batchelor and husband, Eric, Christi Lynn Mooring, Jodi Mooring Dyson and husband, David, Jr.,  Kevin Ray Heath and wife, Susie, Ron Sutphin, Jr. and wife, Mamie, William Sutphin, Matthew Enzor and wife, Jennifer and John Enzor and wife, Dana;  great-grandchildren, Kayla Dyson Tomchesson and husband, Branson, Carson Alexa Dyson, David Eugene Dyson III, Rhonda Burkett and husband, Andy and Brittany Mooring Jordan and husband, David and nine additional great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at Pinelawn Memorial Park Friday, October 4, 2024 at 11:00 am.
