Judith Diane White

Judith Diane White, 79, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2026. She was born on April 22, 1946, in Dover, to the late Cletus Larry White and Virginia Madison White.

Diane devoted 30 years of faithful service to the Lenoir County Clerk of Court’s Office. After retiring, she focused on what mattered most - providing carpool rides, summer care, and endless love to her grandchildren, whom she supported and nurtured with great joy. She also enjoyed working at the Lenoir Memorial Hospital Cheer Corner.

Diane was a strong and resilient woman who loved deeply. Her heart belonged to her family, especially her daughters and grandchildren, and her steady presence was the foundation of their lives. She found joy in diamond dotting, putting puzzles together, spending time with family at the river, and looking forward to her 5:00 p.m. evening routine.

While her absence is deeply felt, we take comfort in knowing she is now reunited with her parents; her brothers, Frankie White and Donnie White; her niece, Tracey White Taylor; her sister-in-law, Ann White; and her very dear friend, Linda King Hill.

Diane is survived by her loving daughters, Dawn Turner (Timmy) and Leigh Heath (Jesse); her cherished grandchildren, Josh Turner (Kaci), Jake Turner (Kelsey), Madison Loftin (Matthew), Jessica Hardy (Phillip); her sister-in-law, Glenda White; her nieces and nephews, Kevin White (Mikki) and Greg White (Paula); her adored great-grandchildren, Charlotte Turner, Catherine Turner, Conway Turner, Josie Loftin, and Hannah Hardy; special family Frank and Weenonah Turner; and her cat Lucille. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Howard-Carter Funeral Home, with Steve Roman officiating. Visitation will follow the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made in her honor to the Lenoir County SPCA.
