Junius "JJ" Jones, 49, of Kinston, North Carolina, passed unexpectedly at home surrounded by loved ones on March 7, 2021. JJ was born on September 28, 1971. His passion was over the road truck driving and playing guitar. He is preceded in death by his mother, Betty Gower, father, Perry Jones, and three canine companions, Sadie Girl, Mr. Goldman, and Honey. He is survived by the love of his life, Peggy Gordon and their dog Meko, sister, LaDonna Murphy and family, daughter, Rebecca Hamilton and family, and special friend Roger Humphrey and family. Due to being respectful of JJ's wishes, there will be no visitation or services.
