Justin Corey Taylor

Justin Corey Taylor, of Kinston, NC passed away June 16, 2025. He was born May 2, 1986, in Lenoir County, to Kenneth Taylor of Kinston and Bobbi Jones of Kinston.

Justin served in the United States Army for 8 years.

There were many things in life that Justin loved, but above all were his children, Kendalynn and Hunter.

He enjoyed playing the drums and listening to music. Making Tik Tok videos and dancing were ways that Justin displayed how much he enjoyed life. He also loved his dog and man's best friend "Bella".

You could often find Justin at Fat Babies eating his favorite southern style foods.

Justin was a lover of life. It was his personal mission to make people, especially his family and friends, laugh and smile. He would go out of his way to make others feel good, and because he had such a huge heart, Justin would often go without so that he could help others.

He is preceded in death by his son Justin Corey Taylor, Jr., maternal grandparents, Bud Smith and Shirley McGee, and paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Edna Taylor.

Justin is survived by his father, Kenny Taylor of Kinston, mother; Bobbi Jones and spouse, Gerald of Kinston, grandfather; Tommy Mc Gee of Kinston, daughter; Kendalynn Grace Taylor of Pink Hill, son, Hunter Kade Taylor of Kinston, sister; Blake Taylor of Lexington, brother, K.J. Taylor (Sarah) of Grifton, step-mother; Sheri Hayes, step-sister; Danielle Hernandez (Sammy), nieces; Aurora and Scarlett, nephew; Reed, aunts; Sheila Zeigler, Sharon Smith, Brenda, Debbie and Barbara, uncles; Gary Taylor, and David Taylor, first cousin Courtney Smith (Michael Jones) of Kinston, second cousins, Ethan Jones and Annleigh Smith.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at Howard-Carter Funeral Home with Pastor Allen Stocks officiating. Visitation will immediately follow the service.

Graveside Services will be held Thursday, June 19, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
