Katherine (Wetherington) Radford

Katherine W. Radford, of Bayside Shores, Chocowinity, NC, went to be with Jesus on November 28, 2025.

Katherine was a member of Old Ford Church of Christ in Washington, NC. She loved her family and friends dearly. Working in her garden and flowers were her passion. To know her was to love her and her sweet, humble personality. She will be deeply missed by all of her family and friends.

She is survived by her son, Tommy McCoy (Sue), grandson, Christopher McCoy (Caroline), great granddaughter, Katherine Alyssa Grace McCoy, stepchildren, Missy Steppe, Bud Radford, and Eddie Jones and sister, Joanne Rapp.

Katherine is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Radford, Sr., parents, Johnnie and Mamie Wetherington, granddaughter, Katherine Michelle McCoy, and stepdaughter, Lori Brown.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 04, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Howard-Carter Funeral Home with Pastor Reggie Braziel officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow immediately after the service at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Kinston, NC.
