Katherine Sowers

Mary Katherine Tribble Sowers, 72, of Kinston, North Carolina, passed away on February 5, 2026. Kathy was preceded by parents Joyce Cooke and Harold Edward Tribble and sister Susan Ehinger.

Kathe’s education was centered around teaching young children. She especially loved looking after her own grandchildren.

Kathe is survived by husband, Johnny Sowers of the home; sons Rocky Sowers and wife Mattie, Chris Sowers and wife Marissa and JW Sowers and wife Tara, grandchildren, Gabriel Sowers, Maelyn Sowers, Willow Sowers, Ross Sowers, Emma Sowers and Kara Sowers, Jaclyn Sowers, Christian Fowler and wife Bailee, Tyler Sowers, Colt Sowers and Hailey Sowers. great grandchildren Evelyn Fowler and Everleigh Fowler.     

Memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Pilgrims Home Church with Pastor Jimmy Sowers officiating.
