Kathy Faye Waters

Kathy Faye Brame Waters, 68 of Greenville, North Carolina passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 4, 2024.  

Mrs. Waters was born November 20, 1955, in Beaufort County to Willie Brame Jr. and Helen Ball Vick. She was a long-time resident of Pitt Co. She devoted her life to being a stay-at-home mom to Danah and Mark Waters.  

Kathy married the love of her life, William Edward Waters Sr. on May 27, 1975. She enjoyed going to ball games to watch her children play, spending time with her sister Ann on their many weekend outings shopping and visiting her brother Steve and Martha at the car lot. She enjoyed her dinner dates with her sister-in-law Peggy. She also loved spending time with the light of her life, Aidan. It was rare to see “Nana” without seeing Aidan with her. She was a loving Mother, Sister, Nana, and Friend.  

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents Willie Brame and Helen Vick. Along with her loving and devoted husband of 47 years William Edward Waters Sr. Additionally she was preceded in death by her loving daughter Danah S. Waters, brothers James Brame, Joseph Vick and Gary Vick and sister Faye Bowen. 

Kathy is survived by her sons, Mark Anthony Waters, William Edward Waters Jr., daughters Christy Hardin (Jeff), Michelle Odom, (Brian) and Kandy Orlosky. Grandchildren Jonathon, Jeremy, Jocelyn, Nathan, Joshua, Caleb, Gabriel, Daniel, Michaela, Brian, Christopher, Danielle, Heather, Jared, and Aidan along with several great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Ann Heath (Albert) brother Steve Barrington (Martha), bonus daughter-in-love Marion (Scott), bonus granddaughter Finley and many loving nieces, nephews, and her special furry puppy Luna.  

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Pinewood Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors immediately after the service and other times at the Waters residence
