Kenneth Todd Smith

Kenneth Todd Smith of Trenton, passed away on January 29, 2026, at the age of 62.

Todd was a devoted family man who cherished every moment spent with his loved ones. Known for his kind spirit and generous heart, he touched the lives of many and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He especially enjoyed gardening and took great pride in sharing the vegetables from his garden with neighbors, family, and friends.

He attended Candlelight Free Will Baptist Church, which he lovingly called his home church. Kenneth worked as a truck driver and found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved spending time on the coast, fishing, and relaxing on the golf course with family and friends.

Todd will be remembered for his warmth, generosity, and the love he had for his family and community. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Guy Thomas Smith and Janice Earl Thomas Smith.

Todd is survived by his sister, Janet Schultz of Concord, NC, brother, Thomas Clay Smith of Kannapolis, NC, and stepdaughter, Nicole Coombs of Pollocksville, NC, and two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Pilgrim Home Original Free Will Baptist Church Wyse Fork Rd., Dover NC, with Pastor Brandon Johnson and Rev. Delmas Brown officiating.
