Kimberly Ann Pittman

Kimberly Hamilton Pittman, 49, of Kinston, North Carolina, passed away on November 16, 2025, at UNC Lenoir after a lengthy and courageous health battle. Born on November 4, 1976, Kimberly grew up in both Pollocksville and Kinston and was a proud graduate of Arendell Parrott Academy.

Kimberly worked as a pharmacy technician, a role she truly loved. Her kindness, attention to detail, and steady compassion made her a comforting presence to colleagues and customers alike.

She was preceded in death by her loving son, Chase Lee Pittman, and her father, Ralph Hamilton. She is safe in her daddy’s arms and with Chase now.

Kimberly is survived by her son, Caelan, of Jacksonville; her mother, Barbara Hamilton, of the home, who was also her unwavering caregiver during her final months; and her sister, Deborah Smith (Steve), of Sanford. She is also survived by her nephews, Brandon Smith (Jessica) of Sanford and Tyler Smith (Morgan) of Broadway, as well as three great-nieces and one great-nephew who brought joy to her life.

Those who knew Kimberly will remember her warm smile, her resilience, and the deep compassion she extended to others. Her strength throughout her illness was a testament to her unwavering spirit.

A Memorial service will be held Friday, November 21, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Trinity Methodist Church in Kinston with Pastor John Jones officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorials be made to the Lenoir County SPCA at 3200 US Highway 258, Kinston, NC 28501or to Trinity Methodist Church at 3768 Banks School Rd., Kinston, NC 28504 in Kimberly’s memory.

Kimberly’s life and memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family and all who loved her.
