LaRue Holland Obituary

LaRue Marcom Holland, 95 of Deep Run passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at UNC Lenoir Health Care. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Holland; son, Larry Holland; parents, Raymond and Lessie Marcom; brothers, Burnice Marcom, Clifton Markham, and Pete Marcom, and sisters, Margie Moore, Nouvelle Rhodes, Ethel Blackwood, Mae Garner, and Hilda Harrison.

LaRue is survived by her daughters, Joan Holland Hill of Deep Run and Donna Holland Carver of Simpsonville, SC; grandsons, Scott Hill and partner, Melissa Scott, of Deep Run and Tyler Hill and wife, Stephanie, of Clayton; great-grandchildren, Jr. Hill and McKenzie Hill of Deep Run and Brayden Hill of Clayton, and brother, Ray Marcom of Wilson Mills.

Howard-Carter is assisting the family with arrangements. The family will receive friends at 247 Johnnie Smith Road, Deep Run, North Carolina 28525. There will be no services at this time.
