Laura Ruth Haskins

Laura Ruth Haskins, of Trenton passed away at her home on Wednesday, November 20, 2024. She was predeceased by her husband, Spencer Haskins, Jr., her parents Ben Grady and Cora Bennett Grady, sisters Dorothy Alphin and Eva Barwick and son-in-law, Kevin Grossglass. Laura is survived by her daughter, Laurie Haskins Grossglass.

Laura graduated from Lenoir Memorial Hospital School of Nursing.  She worked as a nurse at Lenoir Memorial Hospital, Britthaven and retired from Neil Medical Group. She was a member of Tuckahoe Christian Church. Laura loved her husband, daughter and son-in-law like her own son. She also loved her special nieces and nephews. She worked tirelessly along with her husband who was a farmer. She kept her garden and yard meticulous as well as being available to her family to help them in any way possible.

Graveside services will be held Monday, November 25, 2024, at 10:00 am at Westview Cemetery with Pastor Russell Metts officiating.
