Liselotte "Lottie" (Beck) Barwick

Mrs. Liselotte “Lottie” Beck Barwick, 95, died Wednesday evening April 18, 2018 surrounded by her beloved family.  She was born March 4, 1923, in Nuremberg Germany to Karl and Auguste Beck.  Upon moving to the United States, she met and married Mr. Junius Barwick. They resided in Kinston, NC.  She was a bookkeeper for Kinston Office Supply.  She was a strong and courageous woman who loved her family dearly.  She was a remarkable mother and “Omi”.  She cherished spending time with her family and friends and enjoyed time at the beach.  Mrs. Barwick was also a long-time member of Rivermont Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Junius Barwick and sister Martha Bohm.

Her surviving family includes her daughter Christine Bright, and husband Bert of Snow Hill, granddaughter Karli Jernigan, and husband Logan of Snow Hill, granddaughter Carmen Stancill and husband Cody of Snow Hill, and grandson Connor Bright.  She also has one great-granddaughter Lawson Stancill.

Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 20, 2018 at Pinelawn Memorial Park with Larry Head officiating.
