Lonnie Garfield Pate

Lonnie Garfield Pate, 83, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2023. He was a loving husband, father, and Papa.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Sybil Outlaw Pate; his son, Gregory Willoughby; his parents, Isler and Rosia Pate; his brothers, Israel, Rodney, and Sammy Pate; his sisters, Mary Taylor, Belle Herring, Rachel Driver, Grace Anderson, and Helen Driver.

He is survived by his children, Gail W. Langston (William), and Gary Willoughby (Donna); his sister, Joyce Mozingo; his grandchildren, Justin Willoughby (Pam), Kayla Streeter (John), Jamie L. Barnett, Jonathan Willoughby, Jodi Taylor (Cecil); his daughter-in-law, Lynn Peterson; and 10 great-grandchildren.

There will be a graveside service on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
