Lucy Mae (Reynolds) Mewborn

Lucy “Peggy” Reynolds Mewborn, 90, of Seven Springs, NC, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026.

Peggy is preceded in death by her husband, John H. Mewborn, parents, Brice and Rosa Lee Reynolds, daughter, Jennie M. Wilmont, son, Johnny Mewborn, great grandchildren, Faith Dale and Layla Mewborn and sisters, Virginia Rogers and Dorothy Jones.

She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Cash of Seven Springs, and Jill Hartley of Trinity, NC, son, Jack Mewborn of Seven Springs, twelve grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, sisters, Clara Shirey of Gastonia, and Hester Taylor of Kinston.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Howard-Carter Funeral Home from 6:00p.m.- 8:00p.m.
