Ludie Gae Hill

Ludie Gae Hill, 84, of Kinston, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 18, 2022, with her loved ones by her side, at Kitty Askins in Goldsboro, NC. She was born July 24, 1938, to the late Lauty and Vera Futrell.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett Hill; three sisters, Cleo McGrann, Margaret Futrell, and her twin, Sudie Hood; and brother, Donald Futrell.

Ludie was a loving mother, grandmother, and wife. She retired from DuPont in Kinston, NC after many years of work.

She is survived by her sons, Tim Hill (Gloria), Dwayne Hill (Sonja), and Danny Hill (Glenda); seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brother, Arnold Futrell; one of her very best friends, Rita Bryant, and many other close family and friends. She will truly be missed by us all.

The family would like to thank 3HC Hospice in Kinston, NC and Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro, NC for all the love and support they have shown.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 21, 2022, at Pinelawn Memorial Park with Reverend Michael Ball officiating.
