Margaret Hardison Obituary

Margaret Marie Mooring Hardison, 80, of Kinston, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen McCoy Hardison, her son, James Bruce Hardison as well as her granddaughter Stephanie Marie Jones.

Left to cherish her memory include her son Mike Hardison and wife Sandy of Kinston; daughters Audrey H. Jones and husband Donald “Peanut” of Kinston, Temesia H. Jones and husband Harold “Tate” of Ayden and Bertha H. Carrothers and husband Dean of Clayton; sister, Lillie Jean Simmons of Kinston. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; Josh Hardison and significant other Christen Mills; Kayla Hardison, Jonathan Hardison and wife Stephanie; Erin Jones and fiancé Will Graves; Michelle Long and husband Brandon; Jeffrey Jones, Jessica Zemonek and husband John; Kimberly and Erika Baker; as well as five great-grandchildren; Charlotte and Lilly Zemonek, Jensen and Karryngton Hardison and Ava-Jo Hardison. She will be greatly missed by her best friend Peggy Hinson along with her Bojangles morning crew.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at the home of her son Mike Hardison. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Snow Hill City Cemetery with Pastor Jonathan Hardison and Pastor Rick Mondell officiating.
