Margie Marie (Burbage) May

Margie Marie Burbage May, 92, of Kinston passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Vidant Palliative Care in Greenville.  

She was preceded in death by her husband  Marcellous “Jack” May, Sr. and her parents William Burbage and Julia Christine Burbage.

She is survived by her daughter Patricia May Brooks of Kinston;  son Marcellous “Buddy” May, Jr. and wife Marian of Elgin, SC; grandchildren Sheri Benson and husband Mike of Greenville, Jeff May and wife Amber of Goldsboro and Marty May of Hookerton; great-grandchildren Payton Dunavant, Caleb Benson, Ethan May, Gavin May and step-great grandchild Jamie Pare.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Howard-Carter Funeral Home in Kinston on Thursday, March 15, 2018.  Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, March 16, 2018 at Westview Cemetery with Mike Benson officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
