Marise Yvette (Ingram) Barwick

Marise Ingram Barwick, 55, was called home by our Lord and Savior on April 21, 2020 at her home.

Marise was born in Goldsboro, North Carolina on August 18, 1964 to the late Lester Ingram and Vera Ann Ingram. She had worked as a nurse at Kinston Medical Center for many years. Marise was a devoted mother to her three sons and loved her grandson dearly. She will be remembered for her loving spirit and determination in all things. Her love for her children and family was paramount to her and she showed it. She enjoyed spending time with her family, decorating her home and shopping, and caring for others. Prior to her sickness she enjoyed spending time at the beach, attending events with her children, and attending church at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints- Woodington Ward.

In addition to her mother, Marise is survived by her sons, Tyler Taylor and wife, Jenna of Snow Hill, NC; son, Travis L. Barwick of Deep Run, NC; and son, Kalen C. Barwick of Deep Run, NC. She is also survived by her sister, Desiree Gwaltney; sister Sheena Kerr-Dailey and husband, Scott of Virginia; brother Caron Lester Ray Ingram and friend Lillian Funk of Selma, NC; and brother Kim Leck Ingram and wife, Terri of Goldsboro, NC; and grandchild Pierce Bennett Taylor.

She was preceded in death by her father Lester Ingram.

A graveside service for family and friends to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at 11 AM at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Kinston, NC.
