Martha Anne (Pearce) Taylor

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearted that we announce the death of Martha Anne Pearce Taylor, 72, of Kinston, North Carolina. She peacefully passed away on the morning of Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at The Service League of Greenville. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Roger D. Taylor, Sr.; parents, James William Pearce, Sr. and Isabelle Myrtle Thompson Pearce, and two infant grandchildren. She is survived by her sons, Roger Doug Taylor, Jr of Kinston, Daniel Taylor and wife, Amber of Navarre, FL, and Derrick Taylor and wife, Doris of Howey-In-The-Hills, FL; grandchildren, Brittany Taylor Marr and husband, Aaron, Kylie Taylor, Aubrey Taylor, Daniel Taylor, Jr., Paula Torrellas, and Eduardo; sisters, Brenda P. Jones, Janice P. Blalock and husband, Russell, Debra P. Waggener and husband, Chris, Patricia Pearce, Tammy P. Sowers, and Lori P. Simonson and husband, Dan; brother, James William Pearce, Jr.; many nieces and nephews, and other close family members and friends. A celebration of life will start at 10:30 am on Saturday, June 15th with family greeting attendees at Sandy Bottom Baptist Church. Official event will begin at 11:00 am with Pastor Rick Mondell officiating. Howard-Carter Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
