Mary Ham Obituary

Mary Alice Tilghman Ham, 89, of Kinston, passed away on Monday, May 30, 2022 at UNC Chapel Hill. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Preston Ham, granddaughter, Mary Ann Braswell, and son-in-law, Hugh Thompson. She was a member of Kinston First Pentecostal Holiness Church since 1960.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Joan H. Thompson of Raleigh; son, Allen Ham and wife, Glenna, of Hugo; grandchildren, Jennifer T. Mourney and husband, Xavier, of Wilmington, Karen H. McGlamery and husband, Devin, of Gallatin, TN, and Sara Thompson of Raleigh; grandson-in-law, Anthony Braswell of Youngsville; great-grandchildren, Blaire Braswell, Micah Braswell, Julien Mourney, Tristan Mourney, Celine Mourney, Karlyn McGlamery, and Preston McGlamery, and many other special family and friends.

A private family service will be held.
