Mary Ann Phillips

August 29, 1941 – November 24, 2024

Dover- Mary Ann Ritz Phillips entered into her eternal reward on November 24, 2024. She was born in Fort Riley, Kansas to the late Earl John Ritz and Mattie Mae Griffin Ritz on August 29, 1941. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husbands, Willis Wayne White and David Nelson Phillips, Sr.; son, David Nelson Phillips, Jr.; and two sisters, Jean Ritz White and Shirley Ritz Anderson.

Mary worked for many years at Smithfield Packing and was a longtime member of Moseley’s Creek Free Will Baptist Church.

A service of love and remembrance will be held at Howard-Carter Funeral Home on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at 12 p.m. with interment to follow at the Griffin Family Cemetery. The family will greet friends in the hour before the service, from 11:00-12:00.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Mattie Ann White Blake and husband, Keith; grandson, Christopher Ronald Blake; a special niece, Kathy Boseman; two nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews.
