Mary Frances West Voss, 84, of 704 Nathan Road, Kinston, went to meet her Lord and Savior on August 27, 2023, at the NC State Veterans Home in Kinston.
She was born in Jones Co. on January 19th, 1939, to the late Lenzor and Josephine West. She also attended Jones Co. Schools. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Clifford Voss of Kinston, and a sister, Edna Riggs and brother, Len P. West.
She is survived by four loving daughters, Vikki Grady and husband Lynn of Kinston, Faye King and husband Robert of Kinston, Joy Thorpe and fiancé Bob Rouse of Kinston, and Billie Ard and husband Joe of Pink Hill, sisters; Geroldine Waters and Margaret W. Gurganus, grandchildren; Tyler Grady and fiancé Samantha, Billy Joe Ard and wife Sabrina, Kimberly Buck and husband Eric, Marvin Buck, Caleb Ard and girlfriend Katelynn Davis, Kyle King and wife Kayla, Brad Grady and wife Melissa, Mike Grady, Robbie King and wife Lori, Christy Woodruff and husband Daryl, and Toni Williams, along with 14 great grandchildren. She also had two special fur babies. Brutus in Heaven and currently Little Willie.
Ms. Voss was a waitress for 40 years at the Baron and Beef steakhouse here in Kinston where she made many memorable friends over the years., She was also a member of Rivermont Baptist Church in Kinston.
Visitation will be held at Rivermont Baptist Church, 2478 US 258, Kinston, NC 28504, on Wednesday August 30, 2023, at 10:00am and Funeral service beginning at 11:00am. A burial will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Kinston.
The family will receive friends at the home of Joe and Billie Ard in Pink Hill off Jonestown Road, 4266 Hamard Rd.
