Maurice Bryant Kelly, Jr.

Maurice Bryant Kelly, Jr., 78, of Kinston, passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2021 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Maurice Bryant Kelly, Sr. and MaryLou Winters Kelly, and sister, Kay Winkler.

Maurice was a loving husband of 40 years and a wonderful father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for 28 years and later worked 12 years in civil service. He loved gardening, cooking, and sharing his harvest with family and friends. He was always willing to help others and will be missed by many.

He is survived by his wife, Carol FormyDuval Kelly, of the home; daughters, Ronda Peyton and husband, Bailey, and Tammy Marbut and husband, Jeff, all of Georgia; grandchildren, Brent Wacho, Allison Wacho, Kyle Marbut, and Nicholas Marbut; sisters, Nancy Hay, Geraldine Noel, and Pamela Todd, all of Florida; the mother of his children, Daisy Parmer, and many other special family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Pinelawn Memorial Park with full military honors.
