Melanie Lynette Moore

Melanie Lynette Moore, 51,of Kinston, was welcomed into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 26, 2021. Melanie was born in Lenoir County on October 13th, 1969.

She was preceded in death by her daddy, Herbert L. Moore, Jr.

Melanie was a full-time homemaker. She enjoyed being at home with the love of her life for over 20 years, Joey Sanderson and their fur baby, Tessie Mae. She loved to cook and was one of the best to her family and friends. Her laugh was contagious, and her smile could light up any room. She was a wonderful woman and will be missed by all who knew her.

Melanie is survived by her love, Joey Sanderson; her son, Joshua Moore (Sarah); step-sons, Grant Sanderson (Connie), Mitchell Grenz; step-daughter, Samantha Grenz (Fiancé James) Mother, Mamie Moore; grandchildren, Sophie Moore, Logan Moore, Chloe Moore, Layla Moore and Adaline Sanderson; brothers, Randy Moore (Renee), Kevin Moore; sister, Lisa Howard (Robbie); mother in love, Alice Sanderson, brother in love, Jefferey Sanderson. She also had many nephews and nieces.

A Celebration of life will be at Howard and Carter funeral Home on Friday, October 1st ,2021 at 7:00 P.M. Graveside service will be held at Pinelawn Cemetery on Saturday October 2nd ,2021 at 11:00 A.M.
