Nicholas Griffin Obituary

Nicholas Hunter Griffin, 24, of Grifton, passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021 at his home. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Eleanor “Tippy” Cox Pate; paternal grandmother, Evelyn Futrell, and paternal grandfather, JB Griffin, Sr.

Nicholas was a lover of all things beautiful. He loved life and all things nature, including crystals and stones. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his dad, James, and brothers at Gaskins Landing. The friends that he had, he loved, and would do anything for them. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his mother, Candy L. Moye and husband, Michael, of Grifton; father, James Allen Griffin and wife, Teresa, of Grifton; brothers, Tyler Griffin and fiancée, Kelsie Duval, and Jackson Moye; niece, Zoey Leigh Griffin; nephew, Blayden Aaron Griffin; paternal grandmother, Joyce Moye, of Newport; paternal grandfather, Fred Ward, and several aunts, uncles, and friends.

Howard-Carter Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. There will be no service at this time.
