Nina (Roberson) Smith

Nina Gail Roberson Smith, 75, of Six Mile, South Carolina, passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021 at Cottingham Hospice House. Born in Newport News, Virginia, the daughter of the late William Gordon and Melba Whitehurst Roberson. She was the wife of Carson Ray Smith of 48 years. Nina retired from special education after 46 years from Lenoir County Schools in North Carolina. She was a member of Ridgeland Drive Baptist Church and a former member of Grainger Baptist Church. 

Surviving in addition to her husband, is her son, Michael Smith of Greenville, SC; and a sister, Judy Dierkes of Six Mile, SC.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, William Clark Smith and a brother, Timothy Roberson.

A memorial service for Mrs. Smith will be held at Ridgeland Drive Baptist Church, Six Mile, SC on December 8th at 3pm. A graveside service will be held on December 17th at 2pm at West View Cemetery in Kinston, NC.
