Norman Barry Tart

Norman “Barry” Tart, age 65, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2025 at ECU Medical, Greenville, NC

Barry was born May 25, 1959 to parents, Paul Edwin Tart and Julia Frances Tart.  He graduated from North Lenoir High School and East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science with a Master of Arts.  He worked for Bosch for many years as a senior buyer.

Barry is survived by his wife, Teresa; daughter, Jessica; stepsons, Thomas White and Jonathan White; step-daughter, Ashley Demas and husband Matthew; sisters, Judy Tart, Sharon Edwards and husband, Bud; sisters-in-law, Patsy Tart and Kim Sutton and Marie Stocks; nephews, Brian Edwards and wife, Jenny, Matthew Edwards and wife, Rachel; niece, Beth Barnhill and husband Ti, special nephew, Justin Tart and wife Marissa and special grandson, Levi Demas.

Barry was predeceased by his parents; brother, Edwin Tart and first wife Rosa Renee Tart.

A visitation will be held Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 1:00 p.m.  With a celebration of life service beginning at 2:00 p.m.  Reverend Chris Stratton will be officiating at Lane’s Chapel Church, 12040 Hwy 55 West, Dover, NC

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barry’s memory to Lane’s Chapel Church.
