Pamela Yokeley Rouse

Pamela Yokeley Rouse 57, of Fuquay-Varina, passed away on August 18, 2025. She was born on March 22, 1968, in Raleigh, Pamela was known for her adventurous spirit and nurturing heart. She had an extraordinary ability to light up the room with her positive energy, always ready with a song, a smile or a loving embrace for those in her life.

Pamela’s love for music shone brightly, whether she was playing the keyboard or organ or enjoying her favorite songs on the radio. She loved to sing and had a voice like no other. She also had a passion for painting, always guided by her vision and her desire to bring joy to others. Pamela was caring and open, welcoming others into her heart and home.

She is survived by her beloved husband, William Cecil Rouse; her stepfather, Ricky Griffin; her children, Christopher Rouse, Pamela Franco, Melissa Osegueda and Angel Ruffen; her 9 grandchildren; her sister, Amy Politz; and her brother, Roy Yokeley. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Rose Griffin and her father, Robert Yokeley.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Howard-Carter Funeral Home in Kinston, on August 26th at 12:00 pm. As written in Psalms 89:1 “I sing about the Lord’s faithful love forever; I will proclaim your faithfulness to all generations with my mouth.” Every day is a new beginning, take a deep breath and start again.
