Pattie Jean (Waller) Blizzard

Pattie Jean Waller Blizzard, 91, of Kinston passed away on Friday, April 2, 2021 at her home. Born in Lenoir County, she was the daughter of the late Roland and Tiffany Waller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Blizzard and sister, Susan Miller. Mrs. Blizzard lived most of her life in the Woodington community, but for the past year resided at Heritage Elite, where she had many friends whom she considered family. She was a life-long member of Woodington United Methodist Church, where she served on various committees, including the United Methodist Women, she served as church treasurer and sang in the church choir. She worked alongside her husband in their rental properties and farming businesses. 

Pat is survived by her son, Patrick Norman Blizzard and wife, Becky, of Greenville, and grandchildren, Garrett Patrick Blizzard, Charles O’Brien Blizzard, and Meredith Catherine Blizzard, all of Greenville.

A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Howard-Carter Funeral Home. A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Howard-Carter Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Whatley officiating. Burial will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
