Paula Jo (Phillips) Graham

Paula Jo Phillips Graham, 48, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at her home in Grifton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Wendell Phillips and Elaine Eubanks Phillips, and sister, Pam Johnson.

Paula is survived by her husband, Johnny Hedgpeth Graham, Jr., of the home; daughter, Kiersten Amber Graham of Grifton; son, Johnathon Ryan Graham of Grifton; sister, Wanda Almeida of Grifton; parents-in-law, Johnny Hedgpeth Graham, Sr. and wife, Barbara, of Kinston; sisters-in-law, Marcia Arnette and Janet Huggins; aunt, Mary Langston; cousins, Ken Langston, Kim Langston, Kelly Kennedy, and Norman and Gail Skinner; three nieces and nephews; one great-niece; beloved furbabies, Ellen, Luna, Gus, Cria, and Paris, and many other special family and friends.

First and foremost, Paula was a homemaker and Johnny and her children were her world. Paula spent her career life as a paramedic and retired in 2005. Animal rescue was also a big part of her life. She was an active member of the TNR group of Grifton.

A visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 21, 2022 at Howard-Carter Funeral Home, with funeral following at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow the service at Grifton City Cemetery. The family will accept guests at 2463 Pine Knoll Drive, Kinston, NC 28504.
