Penny Jo (Noble) Strain

Penny Jo Noble Strain, 45, of Kinston unexpectedly went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, March 4, 2020. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, John and Nannie Pearl Taylor; paternal grandparents, Milan and Etta Mae Noble; aunts, Lisa Rogers and Nora Henry and step-mother, Carol Noble.

Penny is survived by her husband Michael Strain; father, Larry Noble; mother, Gale Noble Taylor and husband Keith; son, Holden Chase Strain; sisters, Julie Noble Lancaster and significant other James Santini and Amber Noble Hoyt and husband Roberto; step-brother, Hunter Batts and wife Amanda;  nieces, Presley Lancaster, Macy Hoyt, Katie Howard, Sarah Beth Howard, Paisley Batts, Sadie Batts and Tessa Santini; nephew, Rob Hoyt; sister-in-law, Tracy Strain Howard and husband Curtis; mother-in-law, Annette Strain and beloved dog, Tara.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 7, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Howard-Carter Funeral Home with funeral beginning at 2:00 p.m.  Interment will follow at Deep Run OFWB Church Cemetery.
