Perry Lee Price, Sr.

Perry Lee Price, Sr., 61, of Trenton, passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at Carolina East Medical Center in New Bern. He was preceded in death by his parents, Malcolm Price and Hazel Lee Price.

Perry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He loved helping others and was always willing to lend a hand whenever needed. He worked at Blue Mountain Enterprises and served Jones County as Chief of Phillips Crossroads Fire Department. Perry was a foster parent for many years, helping children and loving them as his own. He always had a loving smile and enjoyed being with his family. 

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Heath Price, of the home; daughters, Wendy “Renee” Jones and husband, Lynwood, of Trenton and Tracie Smith and husband, Shawn, of Goodyear, Arizona; sons, Chris Price and wife, Sonja, of Pink Hill, Joseph Price, of the home, and Perry Price, Jr. and wife, Kaye, of La Grange; eighteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Steve Price, Leroy Price, and Mac Price; sisters, Elaine Moore and Rose Price, and many other special family and friends.

A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Howard-Carter Funeral Home and other times at the home. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at the Price Family Cemetery, 1109 Chinquapin Chapel Road, Trenton, North Carolina 28585, with Joe Waller officiating.
