Ray Sanderson Obituary

Ray Cleveland Sanderson passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at Kitty Askins.

He was a long-time member of Bethel Free Will Babtist Church. Ray retired from West Company. He enjoyed watching sports and pulling for his favorite teams the Atlanta Braves, and the UNC Tarheels.

Ray is preceded in death by his parents Clyta Caroline and Grover Sanderson; first wife Catherine Smith Sanderson; second wife Alma Sanderson; three brothers and two sisters.

He is survived by his brother, Albert Sanderson; daughters, Brenda Knapp and Debra Tripp; son Sammy Wiggins; grandson, Jeffrey Wiggins: great grandson, Zachary Wiggins; and niece, Debbie Wheeler and husband John.

Celebration of Life service will be held at 11;00 a.m. on Friday, November 24, 2023, at Howard-Carter Funeral Home,
