Raymond Earl Sasser

Raymond Sasser Jr. 70, passed away peacefully Monday July 27, 2020.  Raymond was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.   He loved drag racing and spending time with his family and friends. He attended Bethel Free Will Baptist Church and was a member of Ed Potter’s Sunday School Class.  Raymond was loved by all and will be missed by many.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Gladys Burkett Sasser; sons, Greg Sasser and wife Brenda, Bradley Sasser and wife Dianna; grandchildren, Riley Sasser and Kinsey Sasser;  sisters, Margaret Sanderson and husband Hobert, Kathy Cauley and husband Bryan; brothers, James Sasser and wife Janice, Billy Sasser; sister-in-law Georgie Sasser and many other nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Raymond is preceded in death by his parents; Raymond and Katie Sasser; son, Raymond Sasser III; brother, Allen Sasser; sisters, Pauline Braxton and brother-in-law Jimmy, Frances Alphin and brother-in-law Earl and sister-in-law Vicky Sasser.

Graveside service will be held 11:00AM at Westview on Thursday July 30, 2020 with Pastor Chris Truett and Bert Potter officiating
