Rianon Elizabeth Simmons

Rianon Elizabeth Simmons went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 15th, 2021. 
Rianon was raised in Lenoir County and was a graduate of South Lenoir High School. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from East Carolina University. She was a member of Armenia Christian Church. She loved her daughter Maci more than anyone except Jesus. She loved kittens, reading, writing poetry, music, singing, and laughter, the beach, and her immediate and extended family and her dear friends. As a kid she loved watching Saturday morning cartoons with her Daddy and brulee. Her beautiful smile and infectious laughter will be greatly missed and she will continue to be loved every second of every day. 
Rianon was preceded in death by her Granny Jones, her Grandma and Papa Hill, her Grandma Susie, and her Uncle Tim and Uncle Tracy. 
Rianon is survived by her daughter, the love of her life, Maci Brielle Anderson, her daddy Tony W. Simmons and his wife Tammy,  her mama, Denise Simmons and her fiancé Scott Dedrick (who she called her stepdaddy), her brulee (brother) Brandon A Simmons, step brothers Ricky Herring, Keith Herring and Brandon Taylor, nieces and nephew, Kassidy Simmons, Kaley Simmons, Emma Taylor and Conner Taylor, paternal grandfather William B Simmons, and many special aunts, uncles, cousins and lifelong friends.
A memorial service will be held at 6pm on Tuesday December 28th at Howard-Carter Funeral Home with visitation following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Rianon’s name to Hoving Home 306 E South St, Rose Hill, NC 28458 or Solus Christus P.O. Box 416 East Bend, NC 27018 to help others with recovery from addiction.
