Robert Anthony Lee

Robert Anthony Lee, 54 of Dover, NC passed peacefully on April 23, 2022 at Duke University Hospital surrounded by his family.  He is survived by his wife, Argen Brown Lee; his daughter Toni Lee Martin; his son-in-law Justin Paul Martin;  his grandchildren, Maverick Lee and Branson Paul Martin; his mother, Glenda McCoy Lee; his brother, Michael Todd Lee; and his sister, Sonja Lee Game.  He was preceded in death by his daughter, Argent Ann Lee; and his father, Robert Earl Lee.  
Anthony was born in Kinson, North Carolina on May 31, 1967.  At that very moment in time Anthony began doing what he did best, making people smile.  Anthony always had a smile on his face.  He was a man that was full of life and energy.  Anthony never met a stranger and was kind to everyone.  He would bend over backwards to lend a helping hand to anyone.  Growing up in rural eastern NC farming tobacco is where he developed his strong work ethic and kind heart.  In his younger years, when not working on the farm Anthony,  could be found hunting deer with a pack of dogs that his daughters named after their favorite cartoon character or with his family fishing or skiing at Paradise Shores, NC.  Argen was the love of his life.  He would always tell people they met when she took his lunch money at school.  Their 34 years in love has set a perfect example for their daughters and many other young people that have come into their lives.  Anthony’s daughter Toni was his heart.  He instilled his same work ethic and kindness which can be seen in Toni.  Toni graduated from NC State University with a Poultry Science degree which he was so proud.  He was a mentor for so many young men in life.  Anthony did not have any biological sons but were so many that he was like a father to.  He set the perfect example of a Christian father, husband, granddaddy, and friend.  He will be missed by many here on earth, but we have faith that one day we will be reunited with him again.
