Stuart Craig Smith

Stuart Craig Smith, 53, of Deep Run, NC, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2022 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Leslie H. Smith and Helen Howard Smith.

Craig was a very social person.   He was a loving brother and  was loved by everyone who knew him.  He is survived by his brother, Russell Smith and wife. Kay of Deep Run; sisters, Brenda S. Barron of Kinston, Teresa S. Kennedy and husband, Mike of Beulaville and Amanda S. Scott of Deep Run; nieces and nephews, Scarlett S. Tyndall, Russ Smith, Matthew Kennedy, Leslie Kennedy and Addison Scott  and great niece, Heaven Tyndall.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 1, 2022 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Howard-Carter Funeral Home.  A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at Jessie Howard Cemetery, Deep Run, NC with Pastor Joe Ard officiating.

The family wishes to give special thanks to everyone that loved and cared for Craig throughout the years, especially RHA Howell’s Bear Creek and Abilities, Inc.
