Suelene (Stanley) Hill

Suelene “Sue” Stanley Hill, 63, of Deep Run passed away on Monday, May 24, 2021 at UNC Lenoir Health Care. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Stanley, Jr. and Shelby Phillips Stanley, and sister, Katie Stanley.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She enjoyed quilting, flowers, animals, fishing, and teaching others about her passions. She was a loving and easy-going person who loved spending time with her family. She will be truly missed by all.

Sue is survived by her husband, Jerry “Scrub” Hill, of the home; daughters, Amanda Jean Jones and husband, Chris, of Deep Run and Amber Suzanne Hill and husband, Johnny, of Kinston; son, Jeremy Michael Hill, of Deep Run; grandchildren, Ashton Jacob Jones, Hayley Montana Jones, Christopher Hayden Jones, and Deanna Grace Jones; siblings, Crystal Stanley of Deep Run Cathy Swaney of Deep Run, and James Stanley of Kinston, and many other family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Westview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends other times at the home.
