Teresa Moore Vilchis
September 20, 1959 - December 16, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of my beloved Mama, Teresa Vilchis. She was a loyal wife, grandma, sister and friend to any stranger. She was born on September 20, 1959, and passed away peacefully at home on December 16, 2024. Those who knew her, know that she had a vibrant spirit with an infectious laugh and her conversation was a gift to anyone who was willing to sit down and listen. She had a way of making everyone feel heard, understood and at ease. She was a devoted wife to my Dad, in which they built a wonderful life together full of laughter and sarcasm.
She loved the simple things in life, whether it was collecting antiques, listening to music, or caring for her plants. You could always find her watching Yellowstone and all things involving Tyler Perry and John Wayne. You could always find her listening to Beyonce, or Rihanna, and Elvis Presley. Throughout her life, she provided warmth, love, kindness and a best friend to everyone in her path. Anyone who was lucky enough to know her, was lucky enough to hear stories and share laughter. She will live on in our hearts forever.
She leaves behind her three children; Jimmy Dail Britt Jr, Juan Henry Vilchis, Cristina Brooke Vilchis and husband, Juan A Hernandez, Grandchildren; Liam Storm Britt, Layne Phoenix Britt, Juan Henry Vilchis Jr, Angel Mendoza-Vilchis, Raquel Antonia Hernandez-Vilchis and Juan Augustus Hernandez-Vilchis, Sister; Wendy Ann Jones, In-Laws; Albino and Maria Benitez (and family), Modesto and Carmen Castañeda (and family), Jackson Turner, Nieces and Nephews; Jeffery Scott Jones II and Wife, Brooke Fields, Henry Adam Jones and Wife, Nikki Jones, Great Nieces and Nephews; Jayden Jones, Jordan McClain, Laura Jones, Bailey Jones, Henry A Jones II, Gabriel Calderon, Avery Jones, and Evie Jones.
