Dover- Terry Faye Jones Moody was relieved of the cares of this life on November 23, 2024. She was born in Lenoir County to the late John Robert Jones and Magdalene Heath Jones on August 23, 1954. In addition to her parents, Terry was preceded in death by a sister, Glenda Kay Raines, and two brothers, Robert Douglas Jones and Donald William Jones.

 A service of remembrance will be held by the graveside at Mary Tate Cemetery on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at 11:00 a.m.

Terry is survived by her husband, Franklin Moody; two sons, James Vance Moody and wife, Anne, of Hutto, Texas and Franklin Moody, Jr. and wife, April, of Willow Springs, North Carolina; grandson, Nathaniel Ward Moody; and siblings, Samuel Jones (Lou) of Kinston, Betty Sue Edwards of Reelsboro, Frances Gail West of Rocky Point, Jerry Ray Jones (Teresa) of Kinston, Roger Clifton Jones (Wanda) of Kinston, and Mary Cash of Kinston.
