Virginia Dare Daniels passed away peacefully on Monday, April 06, 2026. With deep love and gratitude for a life beautifully lived, we celebrate the passing of a remarkable woman whose 94 years were defined by faith, devotion, and unwavering love for her family.
She was the heart of her home and a steady light to all who knew her. Her life was rooted in her deep and abiding faith, and her church was not just a place she attended, but a community she cherished and served with joy. Whether through quiet acts of kindness, heartfelt prayers, or simply her warm presence in the pews, she lived her beliefs in a way that touched countless lives.
Family was her greatest treasure. She gave of herself generously, offering wisdom, comfort, laughter, and unconditional love across generations. Her legacy is carried forward in the lives she nurtured, the values she instilled, and the memories that will be held close forever.
As a proud member of the Order of the Eastern Star, she embraced its principles of charity, truth, and loving kindness. She found deep fellowship and purpose in this sisterhood, and her commitment to its values reflected the very essence of who she was.
Those who knew her will remember her gentle strength, her gracious spirit, and the quiet dignity with which she lived her life. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, family, and service that will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.
Though she will be deeply missed, we take comfort in knowing she is at peace, reunited with loved ones, and resting in the eternal embrace of the faith she held so dear.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Daniels; sons, Jeffery Daniels and Kendall Daniels; brothers, Lindsey Braxton and Terry Braxton; and sister, Marie Braxton Sevell.
Virginia is survived by her granddaughter, Holly Daniels of Greenville, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, April 08, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at Evergreen Memorial Estates in Grifton, NC, with Pastors Jamie Haddock and Jessica Braxton officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
