Wesley Burkette Obituary

Wesley Lee Burkette, 90, of Kinston, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2024, at Harmony Hall in Kinston. He was preceded in death by his wife; Elizabeth Frances Burkette, parents; Clarence and Etta Burkette, brothers; Willie Burkette and Floyd Burkette, and sister; Margaret Turner.

Wesley is survived by his daughters; Renee Shingleton, Janet Wade and husband David, Kim Harper and husband Tommy, son: Wesley Burkette Jr. and wife Shelia, grandchildren; Chad Shingleton and wife Michelle, Jennifer Anderson and husband Eric, Jeannette Jarman and Sara, Donna Noble and husband Jason, Amy Willis, and Katie Harper, great grandchildren; Carson Shingleton, Gunner Anderson, Sophie Willis, Clara Noble, and Emily Noble, sisters; Mittie Pike, Faye Diaz, Maude Turner, Marie Lewis, Sadie Davis and Jean Taylor.

Graveside will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Kinston with Ray Taylor officiating.
