William Harvey Watson

William Harvey Watson, 83, of Kinston, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at his home. Harvey was preceded in death by his son, Jeff Watson, and his parents, William J. and Audrey E. Watson.

Harvey was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He retired as a machinist and attended Kinston First Original Free Will Baptist Church. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps.

Harvey is survived by his loving wife, Sarah; daughters, Belinda Brandner of Wilmington, Tom Brandner, and Audrey Bowman and husband, John, of Fallston, MD; grandchildren, Thomas Brandner and wife, Becca, Ashley Brandner and Chris Cole, Ryan Bowman, and Sarah Bowman; great-grandchildren, Emma and Ramsey, along with many special family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 4, 2022 at Howard-Carter Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Terry Coates officiating. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery.
