Winford Junior Baysden

Winford Baysden, 82, of Kinston, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2024, at his home.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Elton and Christine Taylor Baysden, sister, Margaret B. Hamann and husband, Elmer, brother, Lynwood Earl Baysden and nephew, Ricky Hamann.

Winford was known for his pristine car and 1969 pickup truck.  He owned a body repair shop and did excellent work.  He enjoyed his visits with friends at Hardees’ and could always strike up a conversation with anyone.  He could be seen almost daily driving either his vintage car or pickup.

Winford is survived by nephews, Randy Hamann and wife, Debbie and Michael Baysden; wife of Ricky, Teri Hamann; five great nephews and four great nieces.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 4th, 2024 at 2:30p.m. at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
